The onAir platform and hubs enable members to:

  • Control when, where, and how to share their knowledge;
  • Find their interest communities & Co-create networks & hubs with them;
  • Discover new knowledge & Develop Innovative Solutions;
  • Find Common Ground & Make a Difference.

Our Future onAir hub aggregates the best knowledge, people, and organizations seeking to better address challenges related to Nature, Health, Science, Technology, Society, and Nations.  Our support for the People’s Internet hub reflects our commitment to social media that are based on Decentralized Social Network Protocols.

Science onAir

ThiScience portal will have five main Networks with numerous related hubs: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Neuroscience.

Science is a systematic discipline that builds and organises knowledge in the form of testable hypotheses and predictions about the world.

Modern science is typically divided into two branches: the natural sciences (e.g., physics, chemistry, and biology), which study the physical world. The formal sciences (e.g., logic, mathematics, and theoretical computer science), which study formal systems governed by axioms and rules, are sometimes described as being sciences as well; however, they are often regarded as a separate field because they rely on deductive reasoning instead of the scientific method or empirical evidence as their main methodology.

Applied sciences are disciplines that use scientific knowledge for practical purposes, such as engineering and medicine. The behavioral sciences (e.g., economics, psychology, and sociology),  study individuals and societies.

Technology is the application of conceptual knowledge to achieve practical goals, especially in a reproducible way.The word technology can also mean the products resulting from such efforts, including both tangible tools such as utensils or machines, and intangible ones such as software. Technology plays a critical role in science, engineering, and everyday life.

Technological advancements have led to significant changes in society. The earliest known technology is the stone tool, used during prehistory, followed by the control of fire—which in turn contributed to the growth of the human brain and the development of language during the Ice Age, according to the cooking hypothesis. The invention of the wheel in the Bronze Age allowed greater travel and the creation of more complex machines. More recent technological inventions, including the printing press, telephone, and the Internet, have lowered barriers to communication and ushered in the knowledge economy.
