The onAir Network is a human-curated, AI-assisted network of topic hubs that bring together online communities of experts, students, organizations, and other stakeholders … to LEARN more about a field and advance its research-driven knowledge base; DISCUSS key issues and challenges; and CO-CREATE exploring and implementing solutions. A key onair feature is that members control where and how their content and conversations are shared – free from paywalls, algorithmic feeds, or intrusive ads.

Privacy Policy

Simply visiting this Hub does not expose your identity publicly. When you submit to the your email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses for any purpose, that data will only be used by onAir Networks, the non-profit organization that hosts the onAir Hubs. onAir Networks will not sell your information.

You also can, at any time, request that your information be removed from the onAir system. Such requests will be honored within one business day.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting any onAir Networks Hub (referred to as “onAir Hub”) website or mobile application, viewing, accessing or otherwise using any of the services or information created, collected, compiled or submitted to an onAir Hub, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Service. If you do not want to be bound by our Terms your only option is not to visit, view or otherwise use the services of an onAir Hub. You understand, agree and acknowledge that these Terms constitute a legally binding agreement.

2. Provision of Services

You agree and acknowledge that onAir is entitled to modify, improve or discontinue any of its services at its sole discretion and without notice to you even if it may result in you being prevented from accessing any information contained in it.

3. Proprietary Rights

Any of the trademarks, service marks, collective marks, design rights or similar rights that are mentioned, used or cited in the articles of the Hub are the property of their respective owners. Their use here does not imply that you may use them for any other purpose other than for the same or a similar informational use as contemplated by the original authors of these Hub articles under the Creative Commons-Non Commercial licensing scheme. An onAir Hub cannot grant any rights to use any otherwise protected materials. Your use of any such or similar incorporeal property is at your own risk.

You understand and agree that your use of an onAir Hub is entirely at your own risk and that our services are provided “As Is” and “As Available”. An onAir Hub does not make any express or implied warranties, endorsements or representations whatsoever as to the operation of the Hub website, information, content, materials, or products. You understand and agree that the Hub and any of its subsidiaries or affiliates shall in no event be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages. This shall include, but not be limited to damages for loss of profits, business interruption, business reputation or goodwill, loss of programs or information or other intangible loss arising out of the use of or the inability to use the service, or information, or any permanent or temporary cessation of such service or access to information, or the deletion or corruption of any content or information, or the failure to store any content or information. The above limitation shall apply whether or not referred to as “an onAir Hub” has been advised of or should have been aware of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions where the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages is not allowed the liability of referred to as “an onAir Hub” is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

6. External Content

The Hub may include hyperlinks to third-party content, advertising or websites. You acknowledge and agree that referred to as “an onAir Hub” is not responsible for and does not necessarily endorse any advertising, products or resource available from such resources or websites.

7. Jurisdiction

You expressly understand and agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the country, state, province or territory determined solely by referred to as “an onAir Hub” to resolve any legal matter arising from this agreement or related to your use of referred to as “Hub”. If the court of law having jurisdiction, rules that any provision of the agreement is invalid, then that provision will be removed from the Terms and the remaining Terms will continue to be valid. How to view onAir posts

The onAir POST is the key element of the onAir platform. Posts can have content about a topic, person, or organization.  Posts are stored and displayed within a public or custom HUB aggregating the best content on a topic. Public hubs are overseen by the nonprofit onAir Networks and other nonprofits.  Go to About onAir Networks, to learn more about current and planned onAir hubs.

  • Posts are organized in categories and sub-categories in a Hub’s site header and can appear in multiple categories within a hub as well as shared with other hubs;
  • Posts can have, in addition to having text and images, all types of media such as YouTube videos, Google Docs, PDFs, and Wikipedia entries;
  • Posts can also have news items embedded within them such as videos, articles, livestreams, and press releases;
  • Every post author can also have a Comment section for Q&A, feedback, and forum discussion.
  • Posts can be shared via social media and email.

How to Curate a Post

To curate and moderate existing hub posts, you need to be a member of this hub.  If you are already a hub member, go to this Become a Hub Curator post  and select the “Curating Content” option and explain why you want to be a curator of one or more posts and your knowledge of a post’s topic.

Note: If you or your organization is the subject of a post, you will automatically become the lead author if you request it.

Once your request is approved by the hub manager, one of the hub’s editors will be available to assist you with the curation and moderation of the post. It is recommended that your first edits be done with the one of the hub’s editors.

A quick guide to being a post author is outlined below … after logging into hub on a laptop, desktop, or tablet computer with a screen with a minimum of 1100 pixels in width. Enter email address or user name and password

  • Go to post you want to edit and select the pencil icon at the top of the Table of Contents.
  • The onAir back-end edit fields will appear on the left.
